Live Well - A healthy lifestyles program
Overview
LiveWell is a FREE 6–8-week evidence based group program designed to promote a healthy lifestyle in regional WA, encouraging individuals to live well. The program is conducted weekly for 2 hours, consisting of one hour dedicated to lifestyle education, followed by an introduction to light to moderate physical activity in a safe and non-judgmental environment. This is not a weight loss program- LiveWell is designed to give people to tools and empower small everyday lifestyle changes to achieve health goals. One component involves linking people into local services and online resources to support health and wellbeing post program. Social prescribing is an underlining feature embedded in the program development.
- The Program runs face to face for 2 hours a week for 6-8 weeks
-Educational Topics include: food labeling reading, micro and macronutrients, physical activity, healthy outcomes, goal setting and more!
-Introduction to light/moderate physical activity in a safe, fun and judgement free space.
-Meet new people with similar health goals.
Thursdays 3:30 -5:30pm at Primary Health
