Step into the pages of history with the Narrogin Heritage Walk Trail, a revitalised journey that traces the footsteps of the town's past. Inspired by historian Maurie White's “Timescape”, this trail invites you to explore Narrogin's heritage buildings, capturing the essence of a bygone era.
The Narrogin Heritage Walk Trail is a fascinating 1,250m stroll through the town’s early settlement history and reactivates significant sections of the Heritage Walk described in “Timescape”. Designed for one-way travel in a clockwise direction, the trail commences outside Arts Narrogin, on the corner of Park and Fairway Streets – although you can join it anywhere along the route.
The trail showcases significant aspects of the cultural and built history of the town via a series of engaging and attractive interpretive panels. These panels provide insights into the stories of the people who have made Narrogin their home throughout the years.
The entire project delivers 25 interpretive signs on stylish pedestal posts installed at strategic points in the CBD, complete with trail directional markers and a trail head sign located outside Arts Narrogin.
The trail's clockwise route, though designed for a seamless experience, allows you to join in at any point. Uncover the stories of Narrogin with the ”Stories of Us” brochure including a trail map available at the Narrogin & Dryandra Visitor Centre.
