Pilot Food Action Group Project
Overview
We're hosting a series of workshops to inform a grant application to establish a pilot Food Action Group within Narrogin/The Wheatbelt. Food Action Groups are a way to bring together government and community stakeholders to co-create local solutions to local food problems. Workshops will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams across the following three dates. You don't need to attend all three workshops, but it would be ideal if you can.
These workshops will cover:
- Previous findings from focus group sessions
- Essential food programs and activities to include in the Narrogin/The Wheatbelt Food Action Group grant plan
- Prioritisation of food system activities, with consideration of the international and WA evidence
- Important things to include in the grant budget
- Suggestions of organisations to help start up a Food Action Group
