Types of vehicles allowed
Recreational Vehicle (RV) means purpose built recreational vehicles, caravans, buses, coaches or other types of vehicles primarily designed and constructed to provide occupancy to a person or persons that are licensed to operate on a road. A recreational Vehicle using this area must be fitted with an operable integrated black water waste system with a holding tank within the RV. The RV must also have a grey water waste system fitted with the system being capable of capturing grey water without it being deposited on the ground (an integrated holding tank is not required). Grey water capture must be disposed of off-site.
- Recreational vehicles may use these areas for 72 hours.
- The time frame between one period of stay and the next period by the same Recreational Vehicles is 5 consecutive nights.

- A free dump point is located at the Narrogin Recreational Vehicle Free Stay area diagonal to the visitor centre. Standard protocol is in place for the combination lock. Please reattach the lock after use.

- A well signed dump point can be found close to the train line at Cuballing (across the road from the petrol station).

RV CAMPING CLOSE TO NARROGIN CBDThere are three Narrogin Recreational Vehicle Free Stay areas.
The first is located on Fairway Street in the Old Goods Shed Yard at the train station. Free Recreational Vehicle parking is permitted to the south of the Old Goods Shed. While not the most glamorous of spots, this location is very practical and popular, within walking distance of the visitor centre, parks, public WCs, laundromat, cafes and shops. |
RV CAMPING ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN
The second free RV area is located at Railway Dam, near the intersection of Gibson street and Mokine Road (see map below).
Railway Dam is a bit further from the centre of Narrogin, but it is picturesque and peaceful. There is a BBQ, seating, shaded areas, bins, a bike rack and a lovely view of the dam (see below).

highbury RV CAMPING location
The Highbury location (15kms from the townsite of Narrogin) is on the eastern side of Great Southern Highway opposite the Highbury Store.
Parking is permitted to the north and south of the public conveniences, within 100 meters of them. Find a general store, a pub with great meals, and walks close to hand. |

cuballing RV CAMPING locationS
Cuballing Tavern is a great place to relax, have sumptuous meals and cold drinks as it offers free camp at the back of the tavern. The pet-friendly site is accessible to caravans, motorhomes, and campers.
There is no formal charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site please support the hotel and the local community. |
Popanyinning (19kms from Cuby townsite), at the Popanyinning Oval (slightly left and below the red marker on the map opposite).
The general store in within walking distance of the oval, as are toilets and a water stand. Everything is well marked, however if you would like any advice, pop in to the Poppo store (open six days a week) and ask Sam. |
