Cuballing - a place to grow
![]() The name Cuballing came from “Cooballing Pool’ which was discovered in 1870 by John Forrest. In 1889 it was recorded that Cuballing had eleven residences, including the tavern.
The Shire of Cuballing incorporates three areas, all of which have names that are hard to say (but are nice places to stay). Popanyinning, Yornaning, and Cuballing. LOCATION Located 192 kilometers south east of Perth in the heart of the wheatbelt area, Cuballing has a number of heritage buildings which have been lovingly restored (see Things to do in Cuballing). |
STOP A WHILE
Yornaning Dam is a lovely place for a picnic or BBQ. There is a nature reserve and the area has picnic tables, toilets, and playground facilities. For further information you can contact the Cuballing Shire Office on Ph: 9883 6031. |
