We cater for visitors who may be interested in hiking, mountain biking, eco-tourism, caravanning, RV touring, and backpacking. If you are interested in local attractions, history, the railway, local stories, or any information about events or accommodation, the NVC is your first port of call. We have an interpretative space with information about the region, including plants and wildlife, and a wide range of free brochures and maps.
In the retail space you'll find free WIFI, photocopying and a lounge area in which to relax and plan your next move.

Barna Mia Nocturnal Animal Sanctuary is a breeding sanctuary for endangered marsupials. Tourists and locals alike flock at sunset to take a guided nocturnal tour with the chance to view rare and endangered bilbies, boodies, quendas, malas, bandicoots, and woylies.
Bookings are essential as the tours fill up quickly.
Tour days are:-
April to November - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights.
December to March- Friday, Saturday nights
